1.How long have you been with CrossFit Joliet and what brought you here?

I started CrossFit Joliet in August 2013. I was getting really sick of the elliptical 🙂

2.What is your favorite type of WOD? AMRAP? RFT? CHIPPER?

RFT because it actually feels like it’s eventually going to end.

3. What is the skill/accomplishment  you are most proud of?

I am most proud of my Olympic lifts. Before CrossFit Joliet, I had never picked up a barbell. All I had ever known were dance classes and cardio machines. Needless to say, lifting was out of my comfort zone.

4. What words of wisdom do you have for our new CrossFit Joliet members who are just starting up?

Let yourself be a beginner. Watch. Listen. Ask questions. Form comes first. Let yourself be inspired by those around you. Be proud of yourself everyday.

5. Name a goal-whether skill or strength that you would like to accomplish in 2014 here at CFJ.
